You discover that your shadow has started acting independently. Sometimes it lingers a second too long after you’ve walked away; other times, it reaches for objects you haven’t touched yet. Most concerningly, it has begun to point toward a specific door in your house—a door that has been locked for years. One night, you hear the sound of a key turning from the inside of the door. What happens when the shadow finally pulls it open?
